Three Types of Visions
Their Difference Roundtable Discussion
Welcome to the Seer's House Where Seer's of Jesus Meet in the Secret Place
The Spirit of the Lord is upon you to open the eyes of the blind.
Luke 4
For the Intercessor there are three types of visions that one might experience in the Secret Place. In this time in my personal journal I wanted to share what they are and how to distinguish the commune of the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus, in the Secret Place through God’s Word.
Questions and Answers: Posture of Prayer, Prophetic Roars
“Sister Lara, when I pray in tongues I fall asleep. Is there a reason I do this? What can I do to make it better?” One of the things that can help an Intercessor in this area of prayer is to ask yourself, “Do I have all my tools with me, so I can be creative in this time of prayer?” For example, taking note cards; Bible Scripture promises on the area you are focusing in on prayer will help you in times of getting tired as you speak them out loud. Here, you are building up your faith by hearing the Word of God. Secondly, as you speak the Word of God out wait for revelation to come by the Holy Spirit. It is in times like these hearing God’s Voice will cause you grow in those times of being tired. As you hear God’s Voice ‘sing in the Spirit’ the revelation you have received and enter into a more intimate time of worship. Repeat these steps as often as you want as you go back to praying in tongues. I hope that helps you!
Someone wrote: “When I fall asleep someone told me it is a prophetic roar” My comment: There are many postures of prayer mentioned in the Holy Bible. Hannah opened her mouth to speak and couldn’t because of her deep prayers of tears and sobbing to have a son. So, in her posture of prayer--in this case travail in the Spirit--she could only move her mouth and no words to come out.
Personally, I have been in this type of agony in prayer too in desire for the Holy Spirit to give me joy in mourning. However, other postures of prayer are: Aaron and Hurr upholding the arms of Moses; Elijah praying with his head between his knees; David praying over Absalom by burying his head in the ground and throwing dirt over it in sackcloth and ashes and more. Posture of prayer is important because it allows you to be expressive of your own desires in prayer unto God. Yet, at the end of the day no matter your expression “Are you getting results” of the desired outcome of “Yes, and No” in the Holy Ghost.
Featured Brief Article: “What types of Visions are Discussed in the Word of God?”
There are three types of vision: Inner vision, Closed vision, and Open vision.
Types of Vision
.
Here, an inner vision is the lowest perception of visions through perception of our senses: taste, touch, see, hear, smell.
Here, an inner vision is the lowest perception of visions through perception of our senses: taste, touch, see, hear, smell.
Many say, “I had a thought come to mind; or a picture while I was thinking about this or that.”
This type of vision is the lowest form of walking in God --yet valid, as we learn to allow these to be trained by the Holy Spirit in God's Word.
I only say valid if the Intercessor is walking in a place of abiding in the Grace of Christ Jesus and your senses have been trained in the yielding work of the Holy Spirit.
--Taste and see the Lord is good. This one thought has two different senses to exercise by meditation on the Word of God as an example.
Depending solely upon your senses is the lowest form of “Seeing” into the heart of God because it is on the outside realm and is the closest to the workings of the flesh. Many operate in this level that are/or are not trained by a life of yieldedness to the Holy Spirit. Most, operate in this realm as they are yet growing.
2. Secondly, is the closed vision in which you saw in the example of Linda’s vision. This type of vision is located in the spirit man, which abides as one in the Holy Spirit. It is there in our spirit being that inner vision is seen through the eyes of our spirit. These types of visions take greater faith to develop because this is when a believer learns to develop the gift of sight, which comes from our English word video. They are not based on 'perception' which is the first type of vision.
Lastly, the open vision is when your spiritual senses are alive with your natural senses and you walk and see in both realms at the same time. This realm takes less faith then the second, because many have these supernatural occurrences and are yet not developed in the inner man to be credibly led of the Spirit of God, through his word. At the end of the day any vision in these categories are credible and are always ongoing in learning.
An example of this could be found in dreams, “You are asleep yet your spirit being is alive unto God.” At the same time, “Phillip and the Eunuch” in the word of God is another good example. Lastly, Peter’s vision of the “Descending Sheet of clean and unclean animals where he credibly heard God’s Voice.” It was great to see you! Thank you for your comment.
Dreams From God
While many consider “Dreams from God” to be a type of vision that is true in some cases. Here, we could possibly classify a fourth category of visions through this means. However, not all dreams are from God. Dreams originate from a busy mind; works of the flesh; Satan; and lastly-valid dreams from God.
In closing, visions; dreams, prophecies from God are all works of Grace.
They are given to you by the Holy Spirit and come to you where you are. Each categories are given by Grace to position you in faith to hear and know God.
I pray that helps you!
